Homework 10/1/10

The Music Video I have chosen is called 'Meddler' by 'August Burns Red'. I chose this because of it's artistic style, and it's fast pacing. I love that you can tell that every shot has been thought through, and not one single shot looks bad. The camerawork is consistant throughout, and the style is like you would expect listening to the music. The colour scheme is one of my favorite things in this video, only using bright colours in the more artistic shots, and even though the colours are somewhat bland, the way they work together makes a strong combination. The editing/pacing in the video is very fast, which works with the nature of the song, and the effects such as filmburn in places looks fantastic. The concept is performance based, with cutaways to people with big balloons, which is also seen on the bands album cover.
